All Gifts Count 2017 A Project of All Gifts Count

Celebrate National Social Work Month with All Gifts Count

March is National Social Work Month. This is the time of the year that calls for the University of Maryland Baltimore (UM SSW) to take stock of all that we have done in the prior year and to celebrate the hard work and commitment of our fellow social work professionals and educators to improve our efforts and the impact we make.

Our "All Gifts Count" giving challenge will last the entire month of March. Our goal is to raise $15,000 and to add 150 donors to our Honor Roll. Your gift, no matter the size or the fund to which you direct your support, counts. We will be providing updates on this and other UM SSW pages throughout the month on the progress toward our goal. (You can also visit our FAQ page for more information.)

UM SSW has received $25,000 to use to match all gifts made by first-time donors and donors whose last gift was made over five years ago. You can give to any area you'd like, and your gift will be matched dollar for dollar by a contribution to the School of Social Work Annual Fund. Once the pot of $25,000 has been exhausted, the matching initiative will end.

The "Donate" button on the above right will direct your gift towards the UM SSW Annual Fund and enable the Dean to direct resources where they are most immediately needed. To learn about other giving options, browse our opportunities below.
