Support UM SSW's Library Project

UM SSW Library Project A Project of Community Outreach

Libraries embedded in the community serve as urban sanctuaries, provide a free space, contain natural support systems, and remain safe places to find answers to questions and to acquire resources. However, there are capacity limits to delivering this work, and this is where SWCOS intends to help.

This new project and partnership with the Enoch Pratt Free Library places SWCOS students in four branch libraries across the city: Hamilton, Brooklyn, Pennsylvania Avanue, and Southeast Anchor.

How can you help?

  • $25 supplies patrons with personal business cards for job seeking and networking.
  • $50 provides care packages for homeless patrons transitioning to winter months.
  • $100 provides new backpacks for youth in after-school club.
